Invest in the shortage that currently exists – LNG tankers – which will only be exasperated if the United States starts exporting. There’s a great, strange story by F. Scott Fitzgerald called, The Diamond as Big as the Ritz. In it, the Washington family has discovered a mountain that’s made entirely of diamond in an uncharted part of Montana. It’s just one giant, mountain-sized chunk. The tale deals with greed and the basics of the law of supply. But the Washingtons can’t let anyone know their diamond mountain exists… If people found out, it’d collapse the diamond market, making the precious stone worthless. And the Washingtons themselves would be cast into poverty. So, it’s this strange dual existence for the Washingtons. They’re the wealthiest family in the world, but only

Midstream service providers, Enterprise Products Partners L.P. (EPD) and Enbridge Inc. (ENB) have entered a joint venture agreement to build a pipeline –– Wrangler –– connecting the oil-storage hub of Cushing, Oklahoma, to refiners on the Gulf Coast. With the initial capacity of 800,000 barrel a day (BPD), Wrangler is expected to be the largest pipeline connecting the region, replacing two competing proposals. The project will likely cost about $1.5 billion to $2 billion and will compete with a 500,000 BPD pipeline being planned by TransCanada Corp. (TRP) and Magellan Midstream Partners L.P.‘s (MMP) Longhorn pipeline. The 36-inch diameter proposed line, likely to commence in mid-2013 pending regulatory approvals, will initiate from Enbridge’s Cushing terminal and travel 500 miles south to Enterprise’s ECHO crude oil storage terminal in southeast Harris

by David Fessler, Advisory Panelist, Investment U Time to “Go Underground” for Great Returns Last week, a few investors started to dip their stubbed toes back into the market. There’s no question we might still see a few more large drops to the downside, but those who are waiting for the “very last correction” will likely miss a significant portion of the next bull-run. Of course, you might think one of the last places for toe dipping would be the oil and gas industry. A recent OPEC announcement that no additional production cuts were planned for March should serve to keep oil prices low… for now. That’s not good news for drillers, producers and anyone else in the oil industry supply chain. Many deep-water projects need oil prices of $60-70
