Ltd, the world’s largest maker of computer memory chips, has officially announced that it is not pursuing its $5.9 billion acquisition plan of the U.S. flash memory giant SanDisk Corporation (SNDK).
SanDisk Corp. (SNDK) recently launched its Cruzer Enterprise secure USB flash drives. This enhanced version of the USB flash drive was designed to satisfy specific requirements of government employees. The product was tested under military standard 810-F to guarantee certain features that prevented loss of critical information. It was also tested under Section 508 to ensure suitability of the product for the visually impaired. We believe this Cruzer line of flash products will open the flood gate of opportunities for SanDisk as other government agencies around the world reach out for such products for efficient operation. Cruzer Enterprise is equipped with cryptographic modules, encryption algorithms and a durable waterproof design. The water-resistant feature will suit soldiers, healthcare professionals and others who need to protect data against liquid damage. SanDisk’s Central
